Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
- You are responsible for activities under your account.
- We may suspend accounts for violation of these Terms or suspected fraud.
Course Enrollment and Access
- Enrollment grants a personal, non-transferable license to access purchased courses.
- Live cohort schedules may change with notice; we will offer alternatives if changes occur.
- We may update course content to improve clarity and relevance.
Payments and Refunds
- Prices are listed in USD and exclude taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payments are processed by third-party providers; you authorize charges to your selected method.
- Refunds: self-paced courses refundable within 7 days if under 20% complete; live cohorts refundable up to 72 hours before the first session.
Acceptable Use
- Do not share course materials publicly or with unauthorized users.
- Do not disrupt sessions or attempt to circumvent security measures.
- Respect the privacy of other learners in live sessions.
Intellectual Property
All site content, course materials, and trademarks are owned by VividLumen Speaking or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute materials without permission.
Disclaimers
We provide skills training and feedback but do not guarantee specific outcomes such as promotions, funding, or speaking invitations. Your results depend on your effort and context.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VividLumen Speaking is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Third-Party Services
We may link to or integrate third-party services. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Termination
You may discontinue use at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
